My roots are in full-service event production. Prior to founding my own company, I gained hands-on design experience at Jackson Durham followed by a six-year tenure as the lead planner for Sara Fay Egan Events. Since beginning my career, I’ve designed and executed ultra-luxury occasions for clients across Texas and the globe. But of course my story goes back a little further than that!
Since high school, I’ve known my personal strengths and passions aligned in one career path: event planning. I assisted my mom with events hosted in our home from an early age, handling details like florals, linens, and design. I made things official by graduating with a Hospitality Management degree from the University of Alabama. (Roll Tide!)
As someone who’s lived in Missouri, Alabama, and Texas, and produced events all over the world, my network extends far beyond the Dallas area. I love building the perfect creative team for each client, and regardless of where I’m working, my intention is always the same: to produce original occasions that are so personalized it would be impossible to create the same thing twice.

As our trusted Lead Event Assistant at Ash Event Co, Katie will quickly become your favorite go-to girl. A graduate of the University of Kansas, Katie combines her strategic communications and business administration background with inherent creativity and attention to detail. Her strengths in organization, communication, and problem-solving enable her to manage logistics and coordinate schedules with ease, ensuring every event unfolds flawlessly for our clients. Outside of work, Katie enjoys cooking, baking, and traveling - it's an added bonus if skydiving, white water rafting, or some other type of adventure is on the itinerary!
